A textile designer with a deep love for woven designs and everything fabric-related. Growing up in India, a country renowned for its vibrant handloom culture, I think this passion has been with me from the start. The colors and incredible architecture of my home cities inspired me early on, driving me toward a career in textures and patterns. I studied textile design at NIFT Bangalore, immersing myself in the technical side, from weaves to prints. Later, I earned a Master’s in Global Fashion Enterprise, where I got to explore the business and management side of the industry. This mix of creative and business skills has shaped my approach to design. Working in New York was a huge learning curve, letting me combine my love for intricate prints and woven designs to create products that ended up in big stores like Walmart, T.J. Maxx, Macy’s, and Nordstrom Rack. Outside of work, I’m an avid traveler, always on the lookout for inspiration from local crafts from different countries—they’re like a treasure trove of ideas that keep my designs fresh and globally inspired.
